'We will be updating VST to AU for Logic 8 at some point, but right now I cannot say when, and it may have to be a pay-update depending on the amount of work. Also, I am told that Steinberg is about to release VST3, so it may be that we update VST-AU for VST3 and Logic 8 at the same time.'
